1. People and Your Success:
You can not succeed just by yourself. You have to be lifted to success by people who are willing to help you. People become successful only when he learns to deal with the people who make his/her success possible.
Success is built on people. Its people to whom you listen to you and watch what you do. People are your doorway to success. So pass through those doors diplomatically. People are opportunity. They are new horizons. Then take this understanding and create a whole new life for yourself, a more successful life, based upon the ingredient in the formula for success called "dealing with people."
Life is communication. You have to convey your feeling, love, opinion, thought and your ideas to your parents, brothers, sisters, spouses, peers, superiors, employees, neighbors, your readers, your buyers and investors. It is people who respond to suggestions and whose vanity and pride must be traded upon to achieve your desire.
Its people who must be persuaded; led, directed, cajoled, teased or pleased.
Therefore to get success, to get what you want out of life, it is vital to know to deal with people and touch the buttons that motivates them. Get the People to do, what you want them to do. Accept the fact that everybody has strength as well as weakness. Everybody has /her own uniqueness. Learn to tolerate the other person's weakness. People need you because of their weakness and not strength. Don't make judgments about people before meeting them. Observe them and Listen to them.
Look for personal dynamics beneath the surface.
Be always genuinely interested in your audience.
Needs people value most after physical survival.

Many professionals and business persons are highly competent, well trained, dedicated but still fail or failed to advance to their full potential because they lack skill of focused networking. The making and developing potentially useful contacts and building relationships with individuals, groups and organizations is important and integral factor for success of business, profession or career. But networking does not mean interacting with everyone and anyone with whom you come in contact. Not so. Networking should be with purpose. It should be focused networking. You should never deviate from your goal of growth as advancement of your business, profession and career. If you can have all you need to make your talent or service marketable, you can command success. You can command the recognition you desire,if you can use career tactics and utilities, your preparations, your experience and power to use people to propel you towards goal.

7. Emotional Management and Positivity to Success. It is not 'Something' or 'someone' who is making us feel positive or negative, but it is our 'acceptance' or 'non acceptance' of something or someone, which is making us feel positive or negative. It isn't the world but the quality of our response to the world (acceptance or non acceptance) that determines the quality of our emotions. Next time we feel disturbed with a negative emotion, instead of asking who or what is disturbing us, we will examine who or what we are resisting (not accepting) that is causing this disturbance in us. We will replace resistance (non acceptance) with acceptance, and the negative emotion will turn into a positive one. Emotional management begins by stopping to blame that 'something' or 'someone' and starting to take the responsibility to respond to life with 'acceptance' .
Actions follows positivity. Why do we react ? We react because we desire one thing and not another. Reactions are result of identification with negativity and dislikes. If we just revolve around our likes and dislikes, actions and reactions , desires and rejections all our life. It means we have not learned in life .We have not moved up or progressed by an inch. This positivity has to be expressed in every situation whether it is an exam, a human relationship, social living or reclusive living. It has to be experiential understanding of the process that leads to self-development and infuses one with contentment, peace and tranquility. We go through various experiences ,some good ,some bed . Whenever we react, it is bad experience and whenever we accept and act, it is positive experience. If We want to succeed in life , we must focus on positivity and acceptance.*** "If We want to succeed in life , we must focus on positivity and acceptance."
8. Seven Steps for Staying Motivated
Motivation is one of today's hot buzz words. If you have it and can keep it you are a superstar! Staying motivated is simple when you use these seven steps.First - Believe in yourself and like yourself. Second - Set realistic, inspiration and measurable goals that challenge you. Give yourself a date to complete your goals. This method gives you a way to tell when and if you achieve your goals. Third - Create a vision for your goals. Vision yourself as reaching each goal. What will it look and feel like for you? For example, if your goal is to reduce your stress 50% by xx date, go to the internet or look through a magazine for a picture of a person happily walking down a path, smiling, enjoying life and having fun! Select an image that reflects what you want to achieve and what it will look and feel like for you. Place your image in a place where you will be sure to look at it daily-several times a day.Fourth - When you feel a bit off track, or overwhelmed take a few moments of solitude and focus on your goals. Recall your vision. Write out your goals again. Writing is very powerful. It helps you clarify and embrace your goals. Remember what's really important to you and why you want it. The feeling of overwhelm is caused by lack of decision. Sitting in solitude think about any dilemma you may be facing-make a decision on how to move forward. You will feel like a fifty pound weight has just come off your shoulders. You will physically let out a sigh of relief. Putting off making decisions affects your ability to stay motivated. So start making decisions. Fifth - Identify a plan for reaching your goals and develop action steps to successfully carry out your plan. Stay in action daily moving forward towards achieving your goal. Do something every day to keep the momentum going. Think positive!Sixth - Continue to learn. Read books, articles, listen to tapes or watch movies to build new learning around your goal. New learning brings you to insights which are very powerful. Insights will keep you energized, motivated and inspired. Insights provide you with a high similar to the feeling you get after an intense work out. All those happy chemicals- adrenaline and serotonin are stimulated and rush to your brain filling it with excitement and motivation. You feel happy and energized. The key to success and motivation is continuous learning and reaching new insights. This is exhilarating plus its good exercise for your brain.Seventh - Seek the support you need. Rally family members and friends to support your cause. Identify resources that will help you reach your goal and achieve success. Ask for support when you need it. 9. Avoiding Procrastination
by Craig Vom Lehn Millions of people are hurt by procrastination every year. What makes it worse is that they either don't realize it, or they are too lazy to do something about it. However, a successful person takes control of their life and doesn't allow procrastination to overtake them. Let's take a closer look at procrastination in this article. First of all, what is procrastination? Procrastination is to habitually put off doing something that needs to be done. It is usually associated with a lazy person. For example, everyone needs to do their taxes. A successful person takes care of this as soon as possible, and then they don't have to worry about them. Procrastinators put it off until they absolutely have to take care of them. They wait until the deadline rolls around, and then they file for an extension. So, what could have been taken care of in January ends up haunting them in the back of their mind for many months. These types of distractions can be removed by successful people who take control of their lives. Is procrastination bad? You may wonder what the harm is. In isolated incidences, procrastination is not a problem. However, it usually is a problem for most people. We are talking about repeatedly, out of habit, putting things off and instead of using their time wisely, they let their time waste away. Time is the only commodity that we can't get more of. We can always get more money. We can always buy new things, but we can do nothing to add a single minute to our lives. On our deathbed, we will be wishing that we spent more time with our families, not wishing that we spent more time playing video games or that we had spent more time on the job. So, what can we do about procrastination? First of all, we need to recognize it for what it is. Some people are in denial about this. They rationalize to themselves that perhaps they are prioritizing their things to do. However, the litmus test for this is to ask what they are doing instead. If they are sitting on the couch, watching television and eating bonbons when they have things that they need to take care of, then they are lying to themselves. Don't be like this. Take control of your life. If you don't, something else will. Don't allow yourself to be a victim of life. Own your life. Do what you need to do so that you can enjoy your life. Be honest with yourself about this. When you feel like your "to do" list is piling up, take a quick minute to look at the list. If it's not written down, write it down. You won't get them done if you don't write them down. Determine what the most urgent item is, and get started on it without delay. Make it a point to scratch one item off your list every day until your list is empty. What a relief that will be. The key is that you have to tell yourself to do it, and then force yourself to take action. Don't trust yourself to just get things done whenever you have a spare minute. Make time right now. Tell yourself that this is how you combat procrastination. Don't fall victim to the trap of thinking that you can do these things whenever you want, because the truth is you will never want to do these items-that's why they are piling up. Avoiding procrastination is not hard, if you are honest with yourself. You need to force yourself to take action today to chip away at all of the things that you need to get done. Get started right now. What are you going to work on?
10. Turn Your Potential Into Success
Do you know someone with an extraordinary talent? Maybe that person is a gifted athlete, artist, or musician. Or perhaps that person has a mind for business, is a master with numbers, or knows precisely how to handle people. Although this person has these gifts that some people would die for, they never seem to use their gift to help them reach their full potential. Or maybe they are applying their skills but just can't seem to get past a certain level of accomplishment. Maybe you know someone like that. Maybe that someone is you. Everyone has the potential to be someone great. But sometimes the journey to greatness seems so impossible most never make the trip. Others start the journey but get so discouraged by obstacles and setbacks that they give in before they reach their destination. Here are five steps you can take to harness your potential so you can get to the promise land of success.Know where you are going. If someone were to ask you where do you see yourself financially in 5 years what would you say? You might say something like "I'd like to have enough money to get out of debt or buy a bigger house". Those are good goals to have but how much money is enough money? Most people generalize their goals so much that specifics of what they want aren't clear to them. That's like if you asked someone where they were going on their vacation and they said, "We're going to Florida and we're staying near a beach". You'd probably wonder where in Florida and which beach? If that person is really planning on going to Florida they are eventually going to have to decide whether they want to go to Daytona, Miami, or Key West. Once they've decided to go to Miami then getting there will be easier. The same is true of your goals. Write your goals down so you can see them. The sooner you know where you are going, the sooner you will get there.Practice Your PotentialThe most common mistake that most people make on their voyage is that they are not prepared for opportunities. The reason that they are not prepared for opportunities is that they did not practice their potential. In order for you to succeed you must be prepared for success. For example consider former NBA basketball player Steve Kerr. He would practice relentlessly and shoot hundreds of shots a day. Kerr's most memorable moment came in 1997 championship game when his teammate Michael Jordan passed him the ball and Steve made the game winning shot. Although Steve Kerr shot hundreds of shots in preparation for the games, he only attempted a few shots a game. So why practice a hundred shots if you are only going to shot a few? Because those hundreds of shots Steve Kerr took were to prepare him for that one crucial time when he would need to make one important shot. You see if you want to succeed at something you have to be prepared for that moment of success. Read up on how others have succeeded where you want to succeed and be prepared for your moment when it comes.Develop successful habitsThe difference between the people who succeed and the people who fail lie in their habits. Most people might shrug off bad habits as something they've always done and will always do so there is no point in changing them. The truth is the very habits that they have accepted are the very reason they have not found success in some areas of their lives. If you were a manager and you had a choice to promote two people one who had a habit of being tardy and not completing assignments. And another who was always early and saw a project through to completion, which one would you choose? Bounce back quicklySuccess is a journey. This journey is littered with obstacles and setbacks that are designed to test your resiliency. These obstacles can be discouraging and can create the feeling of failure. Once that feeling is there you may entertain thoughts of giving up the journey. In order for you to bounce back quickly you must prepare yourself for these obstacles internally and externally. Do all that you can to prevent these setbacks from happening but if they do happen, remind yourself of your goal. Surround yourself with positive people who will encourage you when you are tempted to give up. Keep motivational materials around also. Posting motivational quotes or reading success stories may give you that recharge that you need to keep you going. The quicker you bounce back the quicker you will reach your goal.Keep on SucceedingAccomplishments feel good and encourage us to continue on to where we want to go. But once we succeed there is a way to keep on succeeding. The journey of success is never boring and never easy. There is always someone out there who will look at the things you have accomplished and wish they could do the same. Helping others succeed is the best way to keep on succeeding. Since you made it through the fire and came out a success, you've gained a lot of experience and will probably have a lot to share. Imagine the encouragement someone will feel when you tell them the story of your success and how you made it through those same obstacles that they are now facing. Passing on knowledge, resources, and wisdom to someone who has the same vision of success that you have is one of the most rewarding feelings anyone can have.
11. Defeat Your Sense of Fear with 'I can do this'
One of the biggest fears people have ever had is their fear of failure because it is closely related to the fear of being criticized and rejected. Successful people have learned to overcome their fear of failure, while the sense of fear paralyzes unsuccessful people. The main problem is that most people self-limit themselves. Most people don't achieve a mere fraction of what they are able to do because they are afraid of being a failure. Can you think of all the things you could do right now, if you didn't have any fears? Would you start singing and dancing, joyfully watching the sunrise? How often do you let fear stop you, even before you have actually started? This can happen even when planning small things, such as a weekend vacation or choosing a picnic spot in the park. How many times did you end up staying at home just because you think it's going to rain? Or because you didn't have enough food for the picnic, no decent blanket and so on. And it finally ends up being a great day outside, you come across that old blanket you always used for picnics and you could have picked up a pizza on your way to the park! What about a major event in your life. Is fear stopping you from confronting your abusive boss, reporting him to the manager of the company, quitting and finding another job? Failure is closely related to behavior, outcomes, and results and is not a personality trait. Even if your actions may not bring you the results you expected, it doesn't mean you are a failure. Just because you made a mistake or took a less inspired decision, doesn't mean that you are a failure. Think of failure as a learning experience and constantly ask yourself what did you learn from that experience that will help you in the future? How can you use your experience to improve yourself or make the best out of a situation?
Just remember that there are times when fear will grab hold of you. Whether you let it to feel at home and settle in is up to you. But if you can fight it, you will have a life that is rich with experiences beyond your wildest dreams. The key to success is learning from your past mistakes so you won't repeat them in the future. Even though we can all make mistakes, must not let the fear of failure to cripple us and block our way.
