God is my neighbour
There was a rich man in a small town. He used to help the poor generously. One day a beggar came to him and asked for Rs100.He gave Rs.10. Then the next day another beggar approached him and asked for help .The rich man asked him how much he wanted. The beggar said it was his wish and this time the rich man gave Rs.100 to him.
On the third day yet another beggar came to him. The rich man asked him how much he wanted. The beggar told,”sir, I don’t want any money form you. I heard about you and your generosity and hence wanted to see you in person .I am so pleased to have seen you now and with that happiness let me go please” The rich man was so moved with his words that he wanted to keep him with him always. So he gave him a house next to his and the beggar started living happily thereafter.
God is also like this. If you demand him he gives a little. If you ask him to give you whatever he wants ,then he gives something more. However, if you don’t ask or expect anything, then he will live with you forever.
I wish to practise it and live near God .Then I will say boldly to you, God is my neighbour. (some how I could equate the title)
