Art of Living

It is always good to speak the truth. But sometimes it is better to avoid speaking truth to get favourable results.

Let us analyse this with a few examples now.

A small boy lost the new pen his dad bought him recently. The mother covers this from her husband so that the boy does not get any punishment from his angry dad.

A girl is running fast and throws open my door and hides herself in my room. I realise that some crazy people are chasing her to sexually molest her. They ask me whether she has come to my house.Do you think I will speak the truth to them? I say “no”which is a pure lie too but I could save her with that lie.

A man is on a tour ,have a small drink and quite unexpectedly happens to have sex with a woman .When he comes back, is it good to speak the whole truth to his wife?

So, sometimes it is essential to tell lies which are harmless to anybody but may do good to someone..

So telling lies, yes papa.

Absolute rubbish! By telling a lie you start a sequence of a string of lies to cover up the first lie. There are other means of getting out of a situation and avoiding to tell a lie, you need to think and apply the power of your mind.
