SLEEPER CLASS OF INDIAN RAILWAY

Suppose I want to go to Mumbai, Delhi, B'lore, Chennai or Hyderabad from Kolkata -- I used to prefer to go there by availing Train because Aero plane fare is usually higher than train fare and also I would prefer sleeper class of train for my trip.

Very recent I had to go to Assam for my business trip and obviously I used to go there by III tier sleeper class. Now I want to share my awakward experience of that journey. I want to high light about three things which were really irritating to me : (a)Toilet, (b) Size of sleeping bunk and (c) Late run of train. I could not understand that when Indian railway is profitable govt. concern, so why passengers won't get a moderate comfort of the journey. Each compartments generally consists four toilets but all are filthy. Size of sleeping bunks are two small for tall and healthy persons. Above all late run affects to break up fixed schedule of every passengers.

My request to Indian Railway Board, please look after these matter seriously and remodel the train compartment at an early effect. Generally in super fast express train 72 seats are available in each III tier sleeper class, six in one side and two in opposite side of each row. If the seating arrangement consider as like 4 in one side and 2 in opposite side then automatically more space will be available for toilets and sleeping bunks. Also storing chamber of night-soil must be installed under each compartment, so the rail track would be clean and clear.

Late run depends on signaling system and it is related mostly with huge number of level crossings on entire railway track. So, Indian railway must do an agreement with Indian Road Construction authority for diversification of roads. I think if no interception in between road and railway track exists then cause of late run would be minimised at highest level.

If our rail minister, the great management legend with his super excellency, could implement an unique improvement for passenger's comfort as early as possible then train journey would be the best priority choice to avail it rather than air.
