BELEIVE IT OR NOT

Almost 8 years ago, I was working with a five star hotel as a front-office cashier. During that time, in the hotel lobby's area some renovation work was going on, which they used to stop by 19hrs or 20hrs, taking into account the inconvenience caused to the in house guests.
It was October 16, 1999 I was doing night shift. Everything was normal; I had done with my night reports by 02:00 AM. And as there were no check-outs, I was just going through the eveningers (evening newspapers). Afterwards, I checked the wake-up call register and realized that there were no check-outs between 03:00 AM to 04:00 AM and I decided to take a rest.
During those days, behind our front desk, near the telephone operator's cabin there used to be a sofa, on which we used to take a rest. So after finding that I can take a rest for 1 hour, I decided for the same. It was 02:45 am in the night. But before that I went to the loo to freshen up. In the loo, suddenly I experienced a cool breeze touching me. I thought may be the air-conditioning flow might have increased. After that I left from the loo, but while coming back I had a gut feeling that some unusual is happening.
It was 02:55 AM. I informed one of my colleagues that I was going to take a rest and in case if any guest comes just call me I am on the sofa. I slept on the sofa. After a minute or so I started experiencing the same cool breeze that I had experienced in the loo. I felt a sleep. But suddenly after that I realized that someone was trying to sit on my chest. I thought may be my colleague must be playing mischief with me. So, without opening my eyes I told him to get up. But, surprisingly the weight started to increase on my body. I opened my eyes and saw no one and so tried to get up, but I couldn’t. I saw no one near me but was experiencing that some heavy person was sitting on my chest. I was totally perspired. I saw my colleague just next to me busy putting stationery in the printer. I tried to call him, but not a single word was coming out of my mouth. I tried to scream, but was not able to.
At that particular moment I thought I was going to die. Then I started thinking of the almighty. I started praying. I knew some mantras. I started reading it in my mind. After few moments I felt the spirit getting up. I opened my eyes and saw a glimpse of the spirit just disappearing.
I felt little bit relaxed but the pain was there. On that particular day, I didn’t inform my colleagues about the incident, as I thought they would make fun of me. But, after my duty hours when I went home and as soon as I entered my home, my granny realized that something was wrong. She asked me about my health. But I ignored her question. But she insisted that something was wrong and asked me what had happened. Maybe because of experience she might have come to know what had happened, by just looking at me. Then I narrated her whole incident. She sprinkled some holy water on me that we were having. I felt very relaxed.
For three to four days I was feeling the chest-pain. Afterwards, I told my colleagues about what had happened to me. And to my surprise, two-three of them had also experienced the same thing but were not dared to say about it. Some seniors told me that it usually happens when there is renovation going on in the hotel and also about the timing i.e. between 02:45 to 03:30.
So friends, if you want to believe it or not that’s upon you. As I am now experienced in this regard, I would like to advice that never ever sleep in a dark place, at least keep some kind of light in the room (zero bulb). Do not sleep with face pointing upwards: sleep sideways. In the night do not use perfumes or ''attar''. In the night do not perform nature's call in the open, as spirits get attracted to its odour.
