When years ago you were born, my life was bliss
Though short lived this joy of unlimited value
As soon Sky fell apart, the Earth quaked
Hell broke loose, void was life
You lost paternal love, my love
Was gone out like a light caught in a wind.
You a bundle of love but I felt blind.
My life revolved around you and you
Like a shining star you grew up
Bestowing joy then sorrow diminished
You grew up to be the apple of my eyes
Fine young man, promise me to be
On your birthday, this special way
To bestow happiness not just to me but the motherland too.
