HusnaMurad's picture

Part-5

10. Violent Physical Torture:

Many women of many countries are facing physical torture such as beating in a routinely way, burning by setting fire in their body etc.

A housewife, who was injured as her husband allegedly set fire to her died .Another case belongs to Fazlur Rahman who married Selina Begum 22 seven months back.He used to torture Selina since their marriage. He set fire to Selina’s body with kerosene following a family feud. These are the real examples.

11. Restriction to be Employed:

In many cases, there is restriction for a woman imposed by her husband and in laws who are not interested in making the housewife do jobs and build up her career although the house wife deserves high quality to make her own bright future.

12.Forces to Conceive and abortion:

Sometimes a woman can be deprived from conceiving a child because of her husband’s wishes to fly here and there like a flying bird without any child for free life. Sometimes a woman can be forced towards abortion for poverty, lack of care & interest of her husband and in laws. Sometimes a woman needs abortion for her poor physical condition but can’t and accept death.

Efforts worthful

Hi Husna,
Truly stated. I am first reading these 3 points, will read your previous posts and will also comment them. The worst sin in this world is to disrespect women. Nice efforts in posting this article.

Hello Husna

I am glad that you are highlighting these atrocities but more than anything, you need to join an organisation that can help you to lobby these findings. I don't know much about India but I do know that even in India there are different Chapters of International Organisations for the support of women's issues.

One of my fellow members from Japan is in NY right now attending the Third Committee of the Sixty-second Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. She writes that “In near future (in the remain of this week or next week), the resolution about agenda item 63 , entitled "Eliminating the use of rape and other forms of sexual violence as instruments to achieve political or military objectives" will be in action."

One of the issues that our organisation worked on was the doing away of female genital mutilation practiced in many countries.

My Message of the Day is:
Life is short. Break the rules. Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile.
Have a nice day!
