With Love from China ......KingSolomin

Some time back I had a three days stormy business visit to China. When my plane landed up at Shanghai airport I was flabbergasted……

I had also visited this country with my parents ten years ago, and then the country was struggling to come out of the clutches of communism and leap forward to liberalisation. Now China has arrived with a vengeance and with a challenge to the West.

……. My British secretary Julia suddenly held my arm tightly and shrieked in amazement – ‘Wow...I can’t believe.’ The new airport, and the Shanghai city, tells the story of emerging China’s new image.

Chinese youth are influenced with the West – mobiles, jeans, tea-shirts and a passion for pop music too. They have become more open to friendships between opposite sexes.

After a hectic day of business negotiations (I was there for a collaboration deal), I was taking coffee with Julia to melt away massive tiredness. She asked-

‘Well, Sir, what is the secret behind sudden economic rise of the Dragon?’

‘I think there are three main factors – 1. Fast Embracing of Liberalisation, 2. New Passion for Innovation, 3. Work, work and work, and ...

4. Most of all the smile of females is becoming wider in this country. Behind every story of success or prosperity there is a magnificent smile of one or more females.’

‘I think it is your new secret of success.’

‘“Exactly. Give more smile to the ladies, and the prosperity will follow. If the West re-think about it then the new-found fear of the dragon will vanish. Lately, the smile of the ladies in the western countries is somewhat shrinking – a dangerous signal.’

‘I love you sir!’

‘I am feeling sleepy now. You should leave for your room.’

‘Can’t I sleep in your room? I love you.’ She was almost shivering.

‘You know I am as committed to Catherine as to my business. We may be loving friends but keep the passion of love or sex out of our relations.’

‘Good night, sir!’ she said, going out reluctantly.
