A Government without Heart

Mr. Journalist: Why are you weeping my child?
Child: My school has been sealed by the government.

Mr. Journalist: Don't lose heart. Take admission in another school.

Child: Seats are full in another nearby school. And my parents can't afford any far away school.

Mr. Journalist: What does your father do?

Child: Nothing. Government has sealed his shop.

Mr. Journalist: And your mother?

Child: Nothing. she was working in a office that was sealed last week.

Mr. Journalist: A really tragedy is happening to you. I thinking Delhi is becoming a merciless city.

Child: I can't study. I am trying to find a work now. We need food to live.

Mr. Journalist: But according to law you can't work. You are a minor.

Child: But I want to help my mother. She is worried that my father might be sent to jail.

Mr. Journalist: Why?

Child: He was saying to my mother that he might not be able to pay the loan he had taken to run his shop.

Mr. Journalist: (Thinking) He also can't pay his income tax, VAT, house tax and other bills. How an honest citizen is compelled to break more and more laws. (To the child) Don't worry. Good time will come.

Child: Will you tell our problem to the government?

Mr. Journalist: Definitely, my son. Many journalists are trying to plant a heart in the body of government.

Dear Oshon, it is a great piece of writing. How can a government be so hard in a democracy.

Who thinks about the people

Politicians are selfish, they fool the public.
