alcoholic doctors

I work at a resort and casino in Michigan. My job is too set up for parties, conventions and concerts. I also work in the bars on the resort sometimes “the resort has five bars” and I enjoy it because I get to meet a lot of different people.
Today we had a convention for doctors. You would think that being doctors they would not drink much or smoke knowing the health hazards both carry. But instead they drank like fish and smoked liked chimneys and prêt much made asses of themselves.
Don’t get me wrong I drink once in awhile but not in excess and not too the point of being belligerent which some of these doctors were. I could not help but think how society looks down on the homeless alcoholic by calling them “winos” while at the same time Doctors can be alcoholic and it’s called “social networking”.

practice what you preach
Kemo -I fully agree with you.Any conference doctors do this any part of the world.One should practice before they can preach,when docs say somking is harmful and patient sees the doc himself smokes then the doc is a utter failure.
