The ticking hands of clock,
What do you whisper in my ears?
Moving with sibling time
Hands in hands you march
Never to slow down once
Where to, this swift passage?
What epoch have you witnessed?
You have passed the yonder
To come to my world, no wonder!
Is it me that you are searching for?
Am I the one you seeking?
But then you seem to be in haste
Too busy to stop for me:
I looked upon you
With child like fantasy
I tried to strode along
Like a soldier in military.
But I am a mere human
What match can I be for you?
Hence go forth
To that purpose you seeking for
Let me lay down
And rest a bit.
If you chance to pass by once more
Wake me up from my siesta.
But for now I wish good luck
To thee and thy sibling
For the journey that made us meet
I show my gratitude,
Let me rest in peace
For my journey is now absolute.

How can you write such poems? Really amazing!I simply loved it.Time is valuable.Can you teach me the art of writing poems-if there is any,though I know it can only come from the core of your heart.

Dear uma
my art of writing poem(as you call it) is very simple. i write when i have the feel about what i feel. As you have noted most of my poems are about love, love tragedies,dreams, unmade decisions etc all this i have collected in my mind as images.
I try to write what i feel when i see an image in my mind, the pain, the endurances comes in with choices of words. hope you will be writing in one soon.
I will only be happy to see you write one from your heart.
