Murder of an innocent love!
A thought died down in my heart,
A feeling so strong seems to crumple now;
A passion that fueled my quest for you,
Is all but dead on your feet.
Fiery fascinations running through my veins
Congeal at your sight;
An emotion that springs at your sight
Now lay limp on the soggy bed beside you.
The moonstone across
Your chest too is broken
Like the heart that was mine.
This sun that I knotted on
To your fingers once
Lay douse,
Leaving me in the darkness of the realm.
Vestiges soar into my future
And Smudge my wedding gown
A streak of black present
On my lily whites reminds me
Of the blistering heat around you.
The trail of blood follows me,
Shadows shroud me ;
Across the labyrinthine passage,
The dark Passages of my mind.
The reverberation of the murder
-Of an innocent loving heart,
Still reachs me at nights;
The screams still ricochet in my ears
And the ache still lingers.
The albatross of your remorse and guilt,
Laden my heart and soul,
As I walk to my next nuptials
