The primary use of probiotics has been to treat diarrhea by counteracting the effects of antibiotics, which kill good bacteria in your gut along with the bad bacteria they are intended to eliminate. But researchers are finding that the regular use of probiotics can mean fewer sick days, and can help people who are lactose intolerant. They have shown that it can treat irritable bowel syndrome, and even reduce stress.

Dietitians believe the best way to get them is in food and they include yogurt with live cultures.

Use of probiotic along with anibiotic has been made compulsory by many doctors. Our india lineage of treatment has long ago recommended to take curd with rice for people with Irritable bowel syndrome(IRW). No wonder the indian meals consists of a bowl of curd. At the same time, milk is strictly restricted for diarrhea,and all oils along with spices except turmeric is also restricted.
So keep the probiotics by having a cup of curd everyday. excellent topic and content!
