Internet video conferencing

A few years ago internet video conferencing was the new big thing. I’ve been to a few of these at my last job and I don’t like them. It feels so phony talking to a TV screen like the guy is sitting right their in front of you. I guess Internet video conferencing allows you to talk to someone “face to face” who you otherwise would not be able too. So I guess that is good, but for me it just is not the same as sitting down at a table with someone after shaking hands and discussing business face to face in real life.
Has anyone reading been to a video conference before and if so did you like it or do you feel like I do?

I also think talking face to face with a person is better that video conferencing

Yea Rocky I think video conferencing is an ok substitute for face to face talks but not as a replacement...Also for finalizing contracts or in the case of foreign diplomacy face to face interaction is essential..

We did have a tele conferencing at Maharishi Vedic university at Holland, and it served the purpose, so well I liked it.

Video conferencing does allow doctors from all parts of the world to meet and discuss treatments. Which is wonderful.
