What constitutes a good blog?

What actually is a good blog? How do you define them? Is it a good piece with no grammatical error or a hilarious piece with lots of wacky pictures in between?

As i was surfing through the deep sea of online posts, the thought came across. Is a good post supposed to be a 'well written' one, or a 'popular' one? It would be nice to know what the collective public would like to read. What could attract both a coffee-sipping politically conscious executive and the punk kid with the mohawk who gets off on The Casualties? Sure, sometimes there are news that brings together the minds and hearts of all the homo sappiens in the planet (minus babies, really), but not an internet blog. What kind of blog would be so groundbreaking that everyone would rush to the nearest computer to read it? What do you think?

The next revelations of biblical proportions should be blogged probably. Religion should try to find a way to keep up with the new age. Hmm.
