Keep Your Heart Healthy
A healthy heart means free from heart diseases.We sometimes do not think of what is good for our heart and we sometimes do not really care for our hearts which could sometimes leads us to heart diseases.
Here are some tips to have a healthy heart:
1.Consume foods that contains Fiber.Eating 22 grams of fiber keeps us away from high level of protein which is associated with heart diseases and illnesses.Foods rich in fiber are vegetables such as broccoli, carrots and Jerusalem artichokes,root vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, and onions,whole grain foods,bran,nuts and seeds,vegetables such as green beans, cauliflower, zucchini (courgette), and celery,the skins of some fruits, including tomatoes.
2.Choose Aspirin when taking over the counter drugs.Aspirin is sometimes used to treat rheumatic fever (a serious condition that may develop after a strep throat infection and may cause swelling of the heart valves) and Kawasaki disease (an illness that may cause heart problems in children). Aspirin is also sometimes used to lower the risk of blood clots in patients who have artificial heart valves or certain other heart conditions.
3.Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acid like salmon and tuna.This helps to slow down the growth of arterial plaque.
4.Exercise daily.Exercise for 15 to 30 minutes a day to have a healthy and fit body.Exercise help prevent or treat serious and life-threatening chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, insomnia, and depression. Strength training appears to have continuous energy-burning effects that persist for about 24 hours after the training, though they do not offer the same cardiovascular benefits as aerobic exercises do.
5.Relax and do not take everything seriously.Smile and laughter is the best medicine.A person who is happy and does not take everything seriously would be far from having heart diseases.
So therefore to have a healthy heart we should remember all this tips to be free from certain heart disease.
