DATING- DO IT RIGHT

Most people get stuck when it comes to dating. I have been there and that is why I would like to share with you some dating tips that might help you.

The following is what I think you should try to do;
- Make sure you are ready and that you know what you want from a relationship from the start. If you are not ready then things will not work out, you or the other person might just get hurt.

- Let the person know that you are attracted to them and see if they are interested in you. In other words you should try flirting.

- If the flirting worked then start dating. Some simple dating ideas are going to watch a movie at a cinema although you will not talk much when watching a movie or go for lunch.

- After dating for a while you now know a bit more about the other person and are better equipped to know what to do next i.e. if you want to enter a serious relationship with them or if you want to keep things on the low and meet other people because that person is not what you expected or for some other reason.

- Learn to understand the other person. Communication is very important in a relationship. Trust and love are also important.

- Make rules for your relationship. This is so that you both know what is allowed and what is not allowed e.g. sex, kissing etc. This will help reduce disagreements and arguments.

- Try to be full of surprises; it will make the relationship more fun. Always remember important days e.g. birthdays etc and when possible give gifts.

- I know this is the part that most people do not want to hear or read about but you should now make a decision on where this relationship is going; is it to lead to marriage or should it end now. If you think this person is suitable and has the qualities to be your life time partner then go ahead get married.

- If you decide that the relationship should end well its ok. Make sure that is what you want and that you will not regret it because it is difficult to end a relationship and then after some time go back to try to start it again.

You did a good thing to make that decision because you know what you want. Just take time to get over it. It has happened to me and many others and I believe that ‘time can heal all wounds’.

- Meet new people and have fun.
