Why gold is under the eart

Gold was once a strange bright tree which grew in the village in the cordilleras. The marvelled at the tree but were afraid to touch it. The tree quickly grew, sprouting branches and leaves that sparkled like fire. Soon it bone fruits which look like oranges. The people wanted to pluck the trees fruits,and succeeded only after one difficulty. When they tried to eat the fruits,they could not chew them. They broke the fruits with stones and found the inside yellow,hard,and without any juice. The tree became bothered by the people who ogle it everyday.It continued growing until it reached the clouds. Soon the sun protested the tree,"please don't come any closer. Your fruits and leaves dazzle me.""but i cannot help it,"said the tree."The eyes of the people bothered me.""why don't you drop dead then?" Suddenly,the tree broke. It was so heavy that it sank deep,deep down into the ground. The people saw the ground swallow the tree. IT is said that the tree has continued growing under the earth but people now have to dig deep to get a piece of the tree of gold
