The Gift

It was April 11, about 9:30pm, I was at the office catching up with work. I really don't need to render the extra time but I am just too distracted during normal working hours with too many calls and text messages so I do the extra time.

As usual I am online on most of my favorite websites. Going through them as I work - multi-tasking - I breath and live it - I stumbled on a testimonial from Mehul's cousin in his orkut page. I don't remember who mentioned it first but we talked about it; and I got that nagging feeling I was not being a nice friend.

I like expressing my thoughts. I have blogged them lately as I was influenced by Kapil. Mehul is my most ardent reader and I did promise to write something about him.

I made the promise weeks ago yet I did not have a single thread of idea. He is a nice chat friend and he is around all the time. My thoughts goes around those two facts and I can't seem to expound it.

How do you describe someone who you haven't met personally? It's difficult really. But NO. This should be piece of cake. I have known him for quite some time already. There is so much to say about him but .. no.. it is difficult indeed. There are simply no words to explain an interesting person.

A spur of the moment, I did not think of who ever will read them. I made up something and here it is...

i hate making testimonials.. so i never ever make one... i will be making mehul an exemption though.. This is for putting up with me

10 things i hate/love about him

1. Borat -> he hates it .. and it is one of the movies that made me laugh so hard
2. 2:54pm -> the time tells me that he will be logging in any moment, maybe it is defective. who cares the time is right twice a day
3. 2:30 -> calculating the time difference is piece of cake for him
4. that he is funny -> yes! dear cousin of mehul is right, i need to be told when he is making a joke.. :D
5. Draw/Lose -> that is the score line when he watches a liverpool game. hehe
6. Gel -> never seen him without stiff hair
7. Music -> i know he got a collection of those mushy, feel good music
8. Jay -> he got a Jay friend
9. Glasses -> rarely see him without one
10. Gift -> a precious one. HE IS.

Is this the perfect testimonial for a good friend? I know. Not at all. Not that close to that person who I am trying to describe. This is a little shallow, superficial.

I would say that the testimonial is more about me. Jumbled, scattered. And I was caught in times that I am being shallow and superficial and at a lost for words.

This is about me I guess -- simply grateful that I was given a gift.
