The Goodness in Evil (by Cyrus Alvarez) PART II

Even the “Prince of Darkness,” Satan himself, is not pure evil. Satan and God may have their differences, but God didn’t create Satan evil. Satan may have been jealous of God’s power, but jealousy would not be enough for anyone to challenge the power of the Entity that created him. He may be arrogant or vain, but it is the fact that he thinks he’d do a better job than God that may have empowered him to challenge the Entity that created him.

Terrorists terrorize not because it is fun to inflict terror, but because they believe in something and they are trying to make a point. Lawyers lie and manipulate not because they want to, but because they believe it is for the best of their client’s interest. No man would do evil just for evil’s sake.

So, however bizarre and twisted it may seem, in every evil, there is good. Because evil has no drive; only goodness can fuel a human soul. And frankly, a man with good intentions and evil ways is the most dangerous thing in this world.

dID YOU FIND IT SENSIBLE ENOUGH?
