Wake up and see!

I wrote this poem when I'm still studying in college. I myself was also searching for peace and that's this piece is all about. But how can we achieve this what we called "PEACE"?

WAKE UP and SEE!

Pride, misunderstanding, selfishness,
hatred, revenge...war!
Look at the bodies of inanimate innocents
Their bodies being arid under the sun's heat
Gone are the laughs and smiles
Heard are the echoes of murmuring cries
Shed are the tears, raining..
Heaven's mourning...
of the world's cuelty.

Bethren what have you done?
Wake up and see!
Is this not enough..
To stop this damn useless war?

Long time we've searched
Histories been told
Generations had passed
But here we are still yearning
Utering for an end..
of this quest for peace
How far have we been searching?

Brethren, wake up and see
the future is yet to be
We've waited for a long time
But it's been not too late.
