21st Century Kids

Today children are very advanced in all aspects, be it computers or laptops or ultra modern psps or mobiles, you name any gadget they have it all, and surprisingly they have complete knowledge about them. They have tremendous capability to master all the latest equipment and gadgets without much trouble.

In the twenty first century the education system is also advanced as compared to the age old traditional system of educating children in schools. While most of the schools have gone online and are proud to be called smart schools. Hence forth the schooling and the education has too seen a see change. Today home work is given as an innovative skill of multi media or computerized and well crafted task. The entire curriculum has seen sudden changes. The smart school children do homework online and prefer to take laptops to the schools. Gone are the days of school satchel and the clumsy books and fatigued children carrying them on their shoulders.

Sometimes I wondered to know whether the school bag weighs more or my small kid.

Perhaps today more stress is being given to career skills and to instill a sense of career oriented programming of the small children. I clearly see the IT skills at work. It is believed that these skills would be of much help later on in child’s life. I call them e-gurus and such schools to be e-schools. By adapting to such measures not only children and the parents are exposed to the much needed 21st century skills, but education system and the entire society is being revolutionized in the process.
