Father's sperm determines the sex and birth of a child

In our society it is commonly found that whenever a woman gives birth to a female child, she is condemned for that. Sometimes she is driven away from the in-law's house due to her alleged non-ability (?) to give birth to a male child.

Now the question is: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE SEX OF THE CHILD - The FATHER or the MOTHER?

Let's reply it scientifically. Medical science has revealed that both the male and the female partners having sex have 1 pair of SEX CHROMOSOME each. The SEX CHROMOSOME in the woman is a pair of 'X' & 'X' type chromosomes and that of the man is a pair of 'X' and 'Y' type chromosomes. In short it can be said that the female has XX chromosome, and the male has XY chromosome pairs. Not going into deep, just be informed that 'X' is female type chromosome and 'Y' is the male type chromosome. That is, when fertilization occurs after sexual intercourse, one SEX CHROMOSOME of the male partner unites with one SEX CHROMOSOME of the female partner. If SEX CHROMOSOME 'X' comes from the male partner (producing XX), the result will be a female child and if SEX CHROMOSOME 'Y' comes from the male partner (producing XY) the result will be a male child.

Now, consider the facts. The female has NO power to supply the male SEX CHROMOSOME (Y) during the fertilization. Because she has only XX (female type) SEX CHROMOSOMEs. It is the male / Father who can supply the Y (male type) SEX CHROMOSOME to have a male child. By nature, when the Y type SEX CHROMOSOME coming from the Father is more active, then it can produce a male child, otherwise, if the X type SEX CHROMOSOME coming from the Father is more active, the result is a female child. That means, the determinant of sex in child is NOT the mother, but the Father. If there is no male child from years together, the main responsible (culprit) is the Father, NOT the woman/Mother.

Another point is, to fertilize the ovum of the mother, Father's sperm is necessary and the only factor. An ovum comes out of the ovary in each menstrual cycle of the woman, and if it gets no contact with a male sperm, it dies out. From puberty to menopause, a women produces an ovum every month. Even when pregnancy doesn't occur through intercourse, and when we consider to get a TEST TUBE baby, then also an ovum is fertilized with the sperm of a male. There are millions of sperms in the drops of semen of the male/Father, only one swims the fastest to fertilize the ovum, the champion one. So, in producing (giving birth to) a child Father is the most determinant role player than the mother, he is the Champion.
