Think ‘Positive’

We live in a very ‘fast’ world now. Everything needs to be done yesterday. And it takes so much time and energy, excluding a thick wallet to accomplish even the tiniest of jobs. These hardships discourage most of the people, especially the younger generation of today. Something which these youngsters do not understand is that hard work pays.
I would not say that they do not have the inclination to start something anew; the only thing they do not have is the perseverance to move ahead. Most of the times, they do not have the courage to fight the obstacles which they are faced with once they start something. So many of the young people I know give-up easily. I have asked a number of youths why they give-up so easily and most of the times the answer I get is ‘because it just is not working; I cannot do it’. This is such a sad thing to hear.
I have thought very deeply about this problem the youths face, and the only reason I can come up with is, that they do not think positive. These youngsters do not understand the importance and effectiveness of having a positive mind about everything they do. When something goes wrong they feel that they are not capable of doing it. They may not be getting the idea of pursuing with a greater confidence. This lack of confidence makes them give-up some very fresh and successful types of projects.
It is my belief that the youth of our generation is much more intelligent and skilled. Their ideas are way higher than how we thought at their age. The only issue facing them is the lack of confidence of thinking negative.
Youngsters, this is my advice to you – once you think of starting a new project, force yourself to move ahead. There will of course be obstacles, but if you have the confidence and willpower, you can step over it gracefully and bring your project to a successful point. Whatever problems you face, do not give-up. Think positive! Remember this saying of Sir Winston Churchill, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
Wish the talented and intelligent youth of our generation a very successful and bright future.
