Love is Blind

Love is an irresistible feeling, it overtakes you by all means. But at times it is very difficult to avoid the cupids arrow and from making the mistake of falling in love. It is often seen that during teenage many fall in love but there are few who manage to support their love for a life long relationship.

Promila was a young college student, beautiful and fair, when she fell in love with her classmate Sunder. They were known by the names as ‘Heer’ & ‘Ranjha’ by all their classmates. They all loved them, their closeness and affection for each other was known to even the professors of the institute where they studied.

The magic of love worked and they came very close to each other. Whenever Promila’s mother wasn’t at home he would climb the wall and come inside. They spent so many moments of intense love with each other that often they forgot to notice the home coming time of mother. In order to prevent himself from being caught, he would often hide himself within the house.

As expected it happened, she became pregnant. Yes she was carrying his baby in her womb. As they met again in the hidden chamber, she revealed her the news. He was shell shocked and didn’t believe in a word of hers.

He planned to eliminate her as she was compelling him to marry her. Being an unmarried mother was like a hell for her. She knew her mother won’t be able to face the stigma. But she couldn’t utter a word before her.

She was brutally murdered by her beloved under mysterious circumstances. She was believed to be carrying six months fetus. The gory tale of love and betrayal was her destiny. She met her fate which she might have never thought of in her life. Isn’t it true as said often, “Love is blind” and people who love each other seldom see the fallouts of such affairs.
