Public servants should not turn masters
In a democracy all those who are elected or selected are public servants and the people who elect them are masters and when the people of India adopted democracy as a way of administration, they accepted this principle. But in reality, they are the adverse. Here the people are still considered as subjects and the people who are selected or elected start functioning as masters and they are taking the masters as their slaves and we have seen all those who have been either elected or have been selected have turned rich and powerful and the people who are declared as masters are still illiterate, weak, poor, unemployed and are being treated as slaves. They are standing before the servants with folded hands. When these situations are present, we, the people of India are not accepting democracy as a way of administration, but we are violating the basic norms of democracy and in reality, we are insulting the concept of democracy.
The people of India had been fighting for independence and they were also happy when they actually got independence and then were happy when they could adopt this democracy a way of administration. But we must be sorry to note that the people are still there where they were during the periods of rajas, maharajas, monarchs and then under the imperialists. They could not get anything under the democracy they had adopted. The people who took over from the British are functioning like the imperialists and they are not interested in the welfare of the people of India.
We have noted that they fight for power as they were fighting in the battle of Panipat or at Kurkshetra. They do not work fort the people, but they waste most of the time in the Houses discussing non-national issues and they are also violating the verdict of the people. When the people have given time to rule to a certain section of people, they must be allowed to work for five years and during this period there should be no trial and retrial in the house. All these trials are futile exercises and waste national time, energy, money and this no-work period is a huge loss to the nation. So the people elected must behave properly and they must accept the verdict of the people who are the real masters of this country and they should behave like servants and not they are not allowed to come in battles of Panipat or Kurkshetra. They must serve the people who had given them this opportunity.
So time has come when the people of India must come out with a law that no house shall be allowed to go before the completion of five years and all those who have joined the alliance, shall remain in the alliance till the completion of the tenure.
