People of India do not want charity
Time has come when we should try to understand the psychology of the people of India. The people of India want to rise out of slavery and want to come forward, but the state is not allowing them to come out of the present rut. When the state see that some people here in India are poor, they start helping them in shape of small charity or dolls. Some children are given fee concessions, they are supplied with books, stationery articles and at times they are given mid-day meals free of cost. Some people are identified and the state starts giving them some work against small wages, some people are identified and they are supplied some essential articles on cheap rates and the like. The state is not helping the people, but they are just meeting the urgent demands of the people.
We must note that people do not want charity. They want to rise but with their own efforts. The people must be given proper education, training and they must get work and also reasonable wages and once these basics are arranged, they shall stand at their own feet and they shall need no further help from the state. The people must try to understand their own position and at the same time the state must help the people and must see that the rich and powerful people are not exploiting their weak situation. We have noted that the state is not controlling the traders and they are raising prices of essential commodities and till the people could raise their income, they are ruined. That had been the reason that during the past six decades, we the people of India could not come out of illiteracy, unemployment and poverty. The state might be taking some measures, but those are not in a position to better the position of the common people.
We must see that each one in this country get work and no one is allowed to remain idle and be dependant upon others. If we achieve this target, we shall have to give reasonable wages to all so that none should be living on charity and charity alone. We must ban beggary from India because the people coming from abroad often have said that India is a country of beggars or they have commented upon us that here in India beggars are on higher side. Once all the people are at work and are earning, the present frustration which is on higher side amongst the common people shall go away and the people shall start depending upon themselves and even the state shall be free from so many responsibilities. Once proper income is coming in the house, the people start raising their standard and they start giving proper education and training to their wards. The state must know this and therefore, time has come when the state should not waste time, because they have already wasted six decades of people and our dream of ‘Ram Rajaya’ is still a dream with us.
