We should reduce number of political parties.
The people of India must try to reduce the number of political parties and for that purpose we should abolish all the state level legislative assemblies which are the breeding place of all these regional and religious political parties. Then we should ask all the political parties to have their existence on all India basis and when they give candidates for elections, they must give candidates for all the constituency in India. They should be based on principles and not otherwise and they must be either based on capitalism, socialism or communism. The present system of establishing political parties on individual basis is not suitable for this country. We have seen that whosoever has been ousted from one party immediately comes out with his own party and we can say that here in India political parties are being established like cooperative societies and we have seen that these people are not having any connection with the people of India nor they are interested in the welfare of the people. We have also seen that all rich and powerful people are interested in establishing political parties and if they cannot get they join some political party. And most of the people in politics are not in a position to tell what are the problems of the people of India and what should be done to solve the problems of the people of India.
We should tell the political parties that they should try to form government and if they alone are not in a position to form government, they must join in alliance and once they join an alliance, that alliance must continue till the last day of the tenure. They should not break away during the tenure. Similarly all the political parties and alliances must give us their shadow cabinets before the elections and the people must be allowed to elect their own ministers. If these systems are adopted, there are chances that the number of political parties, the number of people interested in politics shall decrease. The people shall be electing competent people as ministers and there are chances that the present system of bureaucracy having upper hand shall be out to some extent.
