Two Girls I Might Know

There is this picture in all the newspapers today in Trinidad of two young girls each sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder.
The odd thing is that they look famniliar. Just a few years ago I might have met them in any one of a half dozen places I would go to.
A co-worker in my office says she went to school with one of them.
Apparently they met this guy in a bar and left with him and two other women. They went to some lonely place, something went horribly wrong, they beat him senseless and then threw his body into a ravine.
Then went to an ATM machine with his bank card and tried to steal more of his money.
These four women were quite loyal to each other.
Refusing to testify against one another only these two have now been sentenced.
The mother of one of the girls says she fears her daughter may commit suicide.
I could have known them anywhere and I could swear I've seen at least one around the place somewhere.
Life is indeed a place of close incidences.
