Treasures

My friend and officemate Sol once asked me to write a short message for a debutant. She was invited to the occassion as one of the 18 treasures, so I wrote:
Treasures need not be material things. It could be the people around you, your friends, family neighbors etc, who bring joy to you and shower you with their love and affection. Treasure could be your memories, good and bad, or the lessons learned from everything that happended in your life.
But there are three important treasures I want to give you. These are related to each other :
1. The Golden Rule- Do unto others what you want others do unto you. If you want to be happy, make others happy.
2. The Law of Attraction - by being posotive you will attract positive energy.
3. Plant Good Seeds - if we plant good seeeds we reap god seeds.
Apply these rules in your life and nothing will go wrong. Continue doing good. The happiness you get in doing good things is more than any treasures in the world and you deserve it because you are a treasure yourself, you're a gift.
