Destiny vs. Hard Work

Hard work perhaps can be rated as the best personality trait of a person’s attributes. There can be no substitute for hard work. I believe in hard work. I love hard working people. People will always respect and love hard working persons.
My question now is whether all hard working people succeed in life?
On the other hand, do all lazy people fail in life?
The answer is” No”.
Similarly, I have some more questions. Do all the intelligent people come up in life?
Alternatively, do all dull persons fail in life?
Again, the answer is a big “NO”.
There is a saying “success is from 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.
It is obvious that we need intelligence and hard work for success in life.
Nevertheless, there is one more very important factor, which helps you be successful. That is your destiny.
You may call it as destiny or God’s blessing. I strongly believe without God’s blessing we cannot go anywhere near success.
I want to make myself clear to my readers that I do believe in hard work as you do. At the same time, I believe that hard work alone cannot gift you success. We need the favorable gift of Destiny, hard work and intelligence to travel the road of success. The simple arithmetic formula is:
Favorable destiny+ hard work +intelligence= Success

Yes....
In man's life, you cannot succeed ,just because you are hardworking person but sometimes there is an instances that you just have the "luck" to win.

Destiny vs. Hard Work by Vijayanth
I too believe in hardwork and god's blessing. However, in these days, often the scenario changes with the evil acts of the incapable peopl. This also I have observed. Of course, I feel that god does not want even certain good things to happen, that's why these evil-bugs become successful. What do you feel?
you are absolutely right Pixhatter
In hunduism they say thats because of the good things he had done in his previous births.

I certainly believe in your
I certainly believe in your point of view concerning FAITH + HARD WORK + Intelligence.. as the bible says "faith without action is dead".. but in my opinion, person's destiny is not determined by person's faith and hardwork.. nobody knows each's person destiny, right? nobody wants a very deprived life. that's why people strive hard to get at least a nice living. We cannot say to those that are in shantees that they are destined to be in that place.. because they were born poor and less fortunate. There are poor people who work hard to have a living and become a business tycoon.

"hard work alone cannot gift
"hard work alone cannot gift you success" ---This is not getting along with me....well whenever a person toils day and night and succeeds- people say he's lucky and when the same person does'nt prepare for his test and fails he hears " not lucky this time!"
-I think hardwork and destiny are interdepedent on each other!

Vijayanth your formula
I am wondering where you got that formula (which is apt) and as I am trying to move away from philosophy you are getting deeper into it. I get melancholic when I philosophize too deeply. Don't get my syndrome, my friend.
Actually come to think of it life is actually living a philosophy... one's own philosophy don't you think so?
thank you shobhan
for your wonderful comment. I wont get melancholic if I philosophize too deeply. I had crossed that state of mind long before. I love philosophy as much I love love.If you see my articles you will find they are on different subjects. My objective here is to write interestingly(I hope I do)to get readers.thanks.
