Lucy Gray gazed the at the dead body laid in a pool of blood.l she wad looking for evidence.
She observed the corpse’s head was badly smashed, which showed that he must have beaten to death. Then suddenly she saw a shiny piece of metal besides the naked body and picked it up,”It was a locket, lucy observed it very carefully. She opened the locket very cautiously and her eyes gleamed with a ray of hope.
Besides the picture of a girl there was also a picture of a boy. The other police officers were looking for more evidence near by which could be useful to the solve the case. The dead body was reported have been found around the 5:30 A.M in the morning. Some Lumber jacks saw it and reported about it to the local police station.

Lucy sent the dead body for a post mortem after taking it to her own possession. Now the investigator was in search of the young man whose photograph was in the locket.
She was of girl, named Monica and she was a club dancer with a loose character. She had been having and affair with a young man named David for a very long time.
Lucy went to David,s home. She Knocked at the door.
David was stunned to see a sensuous woman standing at the door.
“Mr. David” Lucy asked?
“Yeah,” David replied”, who are you?
“ I am from N.Y.P.A,” Lucy showed her identity card.
Seeing a police officer in front of him David got a bit nervous.
“W……….what……….do…….want,”? David nervously said in meek voice.
“Mr. David, nearly seven days ago your friend Monica was murdered. Her body was found in woods under a tree,Lucy said.
David became pale.
“what happened Mr. David, your face, Your face has gone pale,”Said Lucy.
H…….how did it happen?who can be her enemy?
“Do you suspect anyone,? “Lucy asked in suspicious Manner?
“No……no I can help you in any way”.
“Mr. David, you are under suspicion.
Don’t you even feel a bit sad?
“What are you saying? Monika was in fact a very good friend of mine and due to her sudden death. I have received a tremendous shock.
I could not have ever imagined that Monika could leave me.”Said David.
“Mr. David, don’t be emotional and answer my questions correctly.
How long did you know Monika?
“I do not know much about Monika, but we sometimes used to meet the delight Restaurant.”
After listening to David, Lucy gave a grin,” Mr. David, Monika’s locket is with me in which, along with Monika’s your photograph is also there. Somebody does not put a photograph in a locket just because they know each other.
Now David,s face again became pale.
“Now answer my last question. The night Monika was murdered, where was you at that time?
“Madam, I returned from Manchester today.
I still have Air Tickets in my pocket and even the bill of the hotel in which I stayed.” David put his hand in his pocket and showed the tickets to lucy.
Lucy looked at the tickets and the bills very carefully. She felt that David was really speaking the truth.
“O.K. Mr. David, I ‘ll leave now but remember, we will meet again, By the way what did you say-Delight Restaurant? Okay, see you.”
After saying this she came out of the room went straight to the delight restaurant. She went inside and looked all around.Two stripped women were dancing .
She went straight to the receptionist who greeted her politely,” Madam how can I help you.
I am a N.Y.P.A investigator showing her identity card she sad.
I have come to order to investigate Monika’s murder case the night she was murdered .She last dined here, after that her corpse was found in the woods.
Can you tell me who all were with her that night?
M……..Murder I don’t know anything regarding this, I am sorry.
Are you telling me truth?. It not, I will to make you confess in the lockup and this will not disrepute your restaurant even, so that’s why whatever I am asking answer that correctly.
“OK” what do you want to know?
“The night when Monika was murdered, where you were?
“Madam, I am the receptionist and I have to stay here all the time and some times overnight. I cannot leave this Place. I was here and as usual a party was going on that day Moanika danced as she used to work here.
An unknown person Name Michel was disturbing her a lot he even had a fight with guy. He was badly drunk.”
Where does he live?
I know him he lives in Palm street. I had once dropped him. I don’t know anything more than this.
All right thanks a lot.
The next day lucy went straight to Palm street, it was a place where a lot of rich people lived.
She asked the nearby people about Michael’s address. She came to know that he was a reckless and easy going kind of man.
She reached Michael’s home, it was a big bungalow with huge gates. She pressed the door bell. The house keeper came to open the door,”and said,”Madam is coming please wait.”
After waiting for several minutes an old lady came in a wheel chair.
Lucy asked? Are you Michel’s mother?
“Yes I am,”She replied.
Where is Michael? Lucy asked?
Who are you lady and what do you want from him?
“The lady answered.
“I am from N.V.P.A and I have in to and investigate a murder and want to meet him.
The old lady got a bit scared after seeing a police officer in front of her.
“What has my son done?
“Look! I am just investigating, has he done something wrong or not, this will be decided later”.
Then suddenly Lucy observed a red color in sports car standing outside.
“whose car is it?, Lucy asked?
My son Michael has get a passion for sports cars”, replied Michel’s mother.
“Micheal,”Lucy said in a doubtful manner and then she headed towards the car.
She searched the car and took out a lens from her pocket and groped very carefully on the seats by chance if she could find even a chair.
But she could not find anything useful suddenly, she saw a pea pod.she think how come a wild fruit like a pea came here. She carefully picked it up and put it inside her pocket . Now she could see a ray of light in darkness.
She said,”I’ll go now, thank you.
She started her car and went straight to place where Monika’s dead body wad found. She saw that there were lot of peas. She saw even some tyre marks . she followed them and found that the marks took her straight to the clearance. One of the pea creepers was nearly on the ground and created a hindrance.
The tree must have crushed the creeper. Lucy plucked a pea from the same creeper and then she sent the pea which she found in Michael’s car and the pea from the jungle for D.N .A structure testing. After two days the research lab reports came which said that both of pea pods, belonged to the same tree. Monika’s postmortem report had also arrived which said that the before she was murdered she was raped and the rapists semen stains were still present on Monika’s underwear.
Lucy had almost reached her destiny. She went to Michael’s place where Michael was drinking wine in a reckless and a carefree manner.
Lucy knocked the door.
“who is it? Michael said in drunken manner.
“I am from N.Y.P.A ,open the door, she said.
Hearing a police officer at the door, Michael was amazed ,he opened the door. He saw with lucy two other police officers who had cuffs in their hands.
“what do you want from me? He asked in a nervous manner .
You are under arrest, Mr. Michael , for killing miss Monika
There must be some misunderstanding. I have not killed any one. Who is Monika? I don’t know any Monika?
This will be decided by the court.” Saying this lucy hand cuffed Michael.
The next day Michael was made to appear before the court and a case was lodged upon him for murder of Monika.
A lawyer to the prosecution asked whose he was at the time of the murder?
I was at home,”Michael replied
You are telling,lie, Michael. The same night you were at the delight restaurant from where you followed Monika and when you got a chance you grabbed her and after raping her in the jungle you stabbed her. The proof is the pea pod which was discovered in your car because where the corpse was found a creeper struck your car from which a pea fell on the back seat of your car. The D.N.A report proves that the same night you were present there. And the most significant evidence that the D.N.A of the semen from Monika’s underwear matches to your D.N.A .
You honor, I request to the court to punish Michael severely for raping Monika and thereafter killing her.”
After hearing the judge of the court gave his decision and keeping in view the evidences it proves that Michael is the murder of Monika and therefore the court order, Michael to be sentenced to death by electric caution.
