The next day with lots of hopes in my eyes I was grinning before the sweet looking claim officer of my insurance company.

The claim officer was looking sweet and fresh and almost buried her face into claim files. I kept silent as breaking someone’s concentration isn’t in the list of my fun habits.”May I help you?”A honey voice drops in. I saw the claim officer was throwing a killing smile on me, finally giving a chance to have a word or two. I told her my story step-by-step and made a damage claim. I also informed her that I’ve brought my damaged car with me for on spot survey.

“Survey What survey?! “The pretty looking claim officer made a strange face and explained that survey was not her job. There was another person deputed by the company to execute that. I said sorry and went to meet that person who was supposed to do survey but he was not available and was on another survey duty. He told me on his mobile phone to meet him on Monday next week!”Monday next week is too late, don’t you think?!” I wanted to ask but he switched off his phone. I had no option left. I couldn’t wait for Monday with a big hole in my car! What about the insurance amount then? Should I wait for it? I must as that is my right and I shall have it at any cost.
