Music, Black People Gave To Us

I like black people, because I like music. Black musicians have learned us, how to love life. To have pleasure from life is not typical feature of white men. Our songs were cold and more describing.

Black Americans gave jazz to their white companions. There are some explanations of word “jazz”, but I think that jazz means “talking”. There are several solos during the jazz songs and amazing scat of singer- singing without words. Amateur jazz singers think that scat is very easy and they just hming, what they want. But it is wrong. The good jazz singer has always idea, topic which she or he tries to tell to the listeners through the music. Scat and jazz solo is very difficult and only skilled musician can impress the audience.

Black musicians kept the blues to themselves for much longer. Blues is known as slow and sad songs about the hard life of black Americans. But they are not necessary sad. Some blues songs celebrate the joys of life, but most are concern with loneliness, pain and depression. They are dialog between the blues singer and his or her instrument, market by breaks, silences and sudden changes of rhythm. It seems as they do not know rhythm and melody, but there is they virtuosity. Interruptions and changes of rhythm thrill the listeners and manipulate with his feelings.
