Dealing With The Daily Sweat

Everyday I'm out on the road, sweating in the tropical sun with all the dust and heat of downtown Port of Spain where the fastest way around is on your feet because of all the heavy traffic and poorly maintained streets.
How does one deal with this ?
I'm usually wary of going to a bar at the end of the day to socialize because I couldn't possibly have a decent body odour.
I came to terms with this a long time ago.
I make sure I leave home in the morning properly bathed and cologned with clean clothes. If I need to sit somewhere with a woman I tell her about the day's sweat and promise better at night.
Then, when I get home its the shower, first of all, then a cool night in an airconditioned bedroom.
People don't seem to understand how important a clean appearence is and how women react to it. So, I tell them, when I'm close, so they know its not an unconscious habit.
It pays to admit liabilities when you have them.
