A.R. Rahman : A Success Story

What is it about A.R. Rahman’s music that touches the soul. His music give fills you with warmth. I am not much of a movie buff but there was always something that I could not fathom : unseen, unexplicable.

I came across one of his interviews one day.

“I didn’t come into this field to intrude on somebody else’s success,” said Rahman.

It was a great revelation.

An artist. He is here in the music industry for his LOVE of music. So the depth, the strong vibes in his music are because Rahman has poured his soul into it. For those of us who believe in vibes will know that it is exactly the reason why we ‘feel’ special about a particular gift or a card or a home or a writing or a piece of music, a painting…the artist’s soul makes it alive.

My desk calendar reads :

Work is not a man’s punishment. It is his reward, his strength, his glory and his pleasure. When you start a little earlier, work a little harder, stay a little later and concentrate on every detail, you are practicing integrity in your work. and whether you know it or not, the true level of integrity is always apparent to everyone around you.

If you are a heart-oriented person, this will make sense to you. Osho says, “senses are absorbed in the heart…You touch someone: if you are a heart-oriented person the touch immediately goes to your heart, and you can feel the quality. If the person is heart-oriented then there is a certain warmth, then his hand will really melt you. You will feel a certain thing flowing from his hand to you, and there will be a meeting, a communication of warmth.”

Be like this. There is so much we are missing out in the worl,d because of our mindgames and calclulations. Let your heart reign supreme. The world will change around you.

That is the magic – of Rahman’s music and human life!
