Can we be Bestfriends....... with the Opposite sex without destroying our relationship ?

To me, the answer to this question lies within the individuals involved in the situation. If the man and woman had been strictly platonic friends since childhood then there is no doubt in my mind, that in adulthood it would be any diffrent. But the situation gets complicated if the man and woman have not known each other long and at some point in there 'friendship' become sexually involved.Thus, turning a platonic relationship into a friendship with 'benefits'.

I believe a friendship with the opposite sex can be accomplished without destroying a prominent romantic relationship as long as all parties are involved.

Men with female 'bestfriends' - Arrange a social gathering which includes both your 'friend' and girlfriend ...ie a cookout,carnival, etc. as opposed to a meeting with only your female friend.Woman seem to respond more to verbal communication.

Woman with male 'bestfriends'- Arrange a social gathering which includes both your 'friend' and boyfriend.... ie a videogame party, bowling,etc. Men tend to respond more to physical activities.

Have your significant other get to know your bestfriend they may not 'love' one an other but it will sure make your life alot easier.....
