'Agni-III' : Mankind loses another battle

It is good to be prepared for a combat but is there a need for another war?

Wars are political. Losses are individual. “Love your country,” they say. “Be loyal.” But if YOU love your country, doesn’t other person have a right to love his own?

What’s the fight over...a little land...a few resources? Tourism? Cash registers ringing? That’s it?

I haven’t even enjoyed those 2 candies in my hand and I want to fight, kill for the 3 candies in the other’s hand. The 2 in my hand are useless? No happiness? The only problem is that I only see what the other person has. Satisfaction over my own things is never there.

How much money, how much land, how many resources are we going to gather? And what in the end? After all the cruelty, killings, tactics, lies, back-stabbing, treachery…and even more lies, more treachery, where have we reached? Ah! Watching T.V., A heart attack! Gone in 5 seconds! A national holiday if you were a big shot!

It is not just a political story. It applies to us all. Where are we going in this endless hunger? Very easily, at any point of the day, I can abuse a president, a dictator, a prime minister but have I ever dared to look inside? The difference lies just in the scale of wrong doings.

Happiness is lacking everywhere.

Even when I do not feel good about the whole thing, I will say, “I hate war.” Why not say, “I am all for peace?”

When THE mind is always scheming, is there a moment when Wwe can experience bliss? Hinduism says that after millions of births we get a human form. Are we wisely using it?

We have got so used to darkness that we don’t even realize that there is a need for some light. No, we are satisfied with scheming.

While we are here, let's add value to people’s lives. Be happy and radiate happiness. There will never be a need for an ‘Agni-III’ or a revolver licence department.

Stop and think once. This world is a beautiful place. Let us all add to its beauty!
