Secrets of Big Success

When I read Jim Carrey’s name, habit urges me to laugh. But the mind nudges, “here’s something worth its meaning.” And I get back to reading it carefully. Hmmm, so true.
Coming from someone like Jim Carrey, it is a very insightful thought. Who thought a comedian could ever think like that. But then, much of the truth is spoken in jest. And a comedian is the one who will always give you things in your face without you getting embarrassed in public. The shield of harmless fun is invincible.

In comedy, truth rules. In real life, lies rule.

“…so they can see that it’s not the answer,” he says. The answer is never outside. It is inside you. It is in this very moment.

If I finally managed to buy a Mercedes today, all the happiness of the Merc forgotten, I’ll be dreaming of a Bentley tomorrow.

Do you think all the big celebrities with big bungalows, media-in-chase, money pouring in…are happy? “He sports an Armani suit. What more can one ask for?”

Possession of one Armani suit follows the desire to possess a few more, then other big brands. A time comes, when you have so many designer wear that you forget what is the feel of the fabric you so longed for at one point of time. It has become your routine. An d any routine is monotonous!

The answer is with you. Satisfaction and aim should move hand in hand. Celebrate your small victories like they mean to biggest to you. Tell yourself, there are even bigger ones to come. But do remember, when you reach there, you will still look back and say,”Good old days.” There is no way you can or would want to come back, but they will still be the ‘Good old days.’

This is one of those ‘Good old days.’ Relish!

Ideally, this topic could be under 'Self Help' or 'Art of Living' but I have placed it under 'Secrets of Big Success' because satisfaction and happiness are great determinants of success!
