India and her contribution to the world
India is not only famous for producing the wealthiest people in the world, she has also produced the world's religions like Buddhism and Hinduism. These two religions may one day populate the world because of their more democratic approach to life and living. Today half of China's population is Buddhists. Not to forget the countries along the Himalayas and the surroundings that have high populations of Hindus and Buddhists. Though Christianity and Islam have taken over the West yet it won't be long when Buddhism gets recognition in those countries for its liberal and philosophical approach to life and living. Buddhism and Hinduism have both survived the test of time because they practise the Universal Law of Human Rights.
If you look further, the world also owes much to India in the area of computer technology. Today, computers play a vital role in our lives. Computers have made life easier, in fact here I am writing something from my desk in my country Malaysia, for the whole world to read. Hotmail, correct me if I'm wrong was the brainchild of Indians.
Traditional medicine like Ayurveda and the use of herbs in cooking are the hallmarks of the Indians. India has also produced geniuses like Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, the inventor of the 'Chandra X-ray Telescope.' So India you should be proud of your great achievements in all fields that mankind has ever ventured. Thank you India!
