I have long made my own lotions, bath salts, smelling salts, hand sanitizers and sometimes even hair cleansers by incorporating natural essential oils.

How to Maintain Your Weight Over the Holidays
Submitted by skewedsolipsism on 21 December, 2007 - 01:23.It’s that time of year again. I have not walked into a single office in the area without being inundated by offers of food and other holiday goodies. For those working to lose a little weight, the holidays are an especially difficult time of year. Somehow, holiday and New Years parties never seem to have foods low in fat and calories while high in nutrition.

Keep yourself healthy while working...
Submitted by skewedsolipsism on 12 November, 2007 - 19:07.Being at the computer this weekend reminded me of how important it is for us to take care of ourselves while writing. Sometimes we think our work is more important than our selves, but it is not. Our work would not exist without us.
If you work at the computer for any length of time, be sure to take a break to rest your eyes. You should be getting up at least once every hour, walking away from the monitor, and focusing on things far across the room. Plop in a few eye drops, if those are your thing, and your eyes will thank you later (especially if you wear contacts).

An Apology
Submitted by skewedsolipsism on 9 November, 2007 - 19:51.I received a note from support yesterday asking me to write good articles and not promotional material. I want to apologize if anyone thought the blogs I wrote yesterday were promotional as I did not feel they were.
The idea of a blog is to write keyword sensitive information so that if a user were to perform a Google Search, your blog would show up on their list of options.

While I have very specific information regarding my area of living, I also have very general information I can share which I think would be helpful to anyone in understanding insurance, why it is needed, etc. This information can be applied to your personal life as well as to your business life.

I've been blogging for a short period of time and I'm always looking for new and creative ways to boost my revenue. Writing Campus seems to be a great place to meet new people, network, and share tips and tricks.

Did you know that November is National Novel Writing Month?
Submitted by skewedsolipsism on 9 November, 2007 - 00:45.Did you know that November is National Novel Writing Month?
That's right! During the month of November, we don't just celebrate the fact that novels have been written - we try to write our own.
The creators of National Novel Writing Month, otherwise known as NaNoWriMo, challenge anyone and everyone to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November.
The novel does not have to be good, nor does it need to be edited. As a matter of fact, they acknowledge and encourage the writing of pure drivel. The idea is to get 50,000 words on the page. You can edit any other time of year.
