Where is the Country?
Submitted by Sapna on 28 November, 2007 - 17:43.We are citizens of a country which is enjoying its 60th year of Independence but looking at the chaotic situation it is hardly believable.
We may be developing in technology and many other enterprises. Indians may be among the richest in the world but when it comes to poverty, communalism, lawlessness and corruption we are going from bad to worse.

The Jews and Christians are called as “People of the Book” because their life, both spiritual and social is centered around the statues and precepts of the Bible.
The first five books of the Bible- the Pentateuch.( Hebrew- the five books)

Submitted by Sapna on 19 October, 2007 - 11:47.Few days back myself and a colleague were out around 10. 30 in the night. We were hurrying to catch the train so we managed to jump into a Rickshaw along with our luggage. The Rickshaw fare was considerably high due to the time and also because it was Puja and Idd time.

Handle with Care.
Submitted by Sapna on 4 October, 2007 - 15:45.The Tongue is a very necessary tool for taste. Without taste we cannot enjoy food.
The tongue is also very fragile; therefore it has to be handled with care:
Many uses of the tongue:
1. To tell a lie: we tell a lie be it white or grey in order to escape from any discomforting situation.
2. To boast: we use this tongue to boast about status, wealth, achievements etc.

Useless or Useful?
Submitted by Sapna on 4 October, 2007 - 15:44.Salt again !!!.
Padmini’s article reminded me of the great importance of salt.
No, I am not adding on to her article.
This is altogether a different thought. Think of it if salt looses its saltiness? What is the use of it then? Salt is one of those things which is very inexpensive. It can be bought very easily, yet is the most important thing in the kitchen.

Want a solid foundation? Try it out!
Submitted by Sapna on 18 September, 2007 - 18:34.The popular belief that Marriages are made in heaven seems false when we take a look at the present divorce rate. The sanctity of holy matrimony seem to decline with the eroding away of moral values. People do not hesitate to change partners since the art of remaining faithful to one partner seems unbearable and unnatural.
Avoid these 4 things to topple your marriage.

Priceless!!!
Submitted by Sapna on 18 September, 2007 - 18:32.“The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world.”
Usually most women think very low about themselves. I am yet to know the origin of this thought. Any ways, women too are responsible for making the other feel insecure and worthless. Yeah! Often we come across women unable to withstand another woman. e.g the son gets sandwiched between the mother and the wife. That is a pity.
