Typhoon Frank devastated the Visayas and Mindanao region Philippines June 19, 2008, caused the sinking of M/V Princess of the Stars carrying more than 800 passengers, a ferry and caused a lot more tragedies. It was felt in Metro Manila early morning of Saturday June 21, 2008. I woke up 3am with the wind pounding strongly and afterwards. . . lights were out.

“Life begins to end at forty”. When I reached forty I perceived myself slowly becoming depressed. I felt I am old, obsolete, unhappy, uninterested in the things that I usually love to do. Always worrying about a lot of things, thinking of getting old.

I have read from the book that these are all signs of depression.
