Today marks my 17th day of volunteer duty here in a small city called Guihulngan. I know it sounds so yucky but from the first time i set my eyes on him, i felt butterflies in my stomach. His height is not the typical height i go for in guys, but his eyes...his beautiful eyes captivates and melts me. His stare says it all.

I've often wondered about these things that men want from their women... I recently went to a barrio fiesta (small town festival) and saw their beauty pageant. Of course, as what always happens in beauty pageants they have prepared questions and contestants prepare their answers for them.It was 10 pm when the pageant started.

My boyfriend and i have been together for more than 7 years. We've had our fair share of fights about jealousy, third parties, late night outings and all the usual stuff that lovers often go through in the early, and even the late stages of being together.

March until the end of May usually is summer time here in the Philippines, but lately, it has greatly changed. We've had one typhoon followed by another and then another and another.. Earthquakes with unimaginable intensities and aftershock effects have hit countries even more than once! Imagine that!

My phone rings. I answer it. " What the hell did you say to her?!", says the man on the other line. Yes, i knew this "man". A week ago, he started texting me. He was the boyfriend of my friend's sister. He wanted to know if my number was still working. That started it all. I never knew at that time that it was going to turn out as a big dilemma for me. He was being friendly.
